Vehicles may be located within a security geo vaulted location that is electronic outlined on the tracking map. This area can be programmed to generate an alarm should a vehicle leave this designate area - this service can be further enhanced by having this feature only operate after business hours allowing tracked vehicle the flexibility of entering & leaving the area during business hours.
This service is particularly useful for trucks, plant & equipment or farm machinery that should not leave a job site outside of working hours.
Example: A tipper truck enters & leaves a security geo vaulted location during working hours and is monitored as to mileage, tipper activation, engine on/off & loading. How NSS Groups real time tracking system works
A Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking device is installed into vehicles or carried by personnel. Once activated it references its location from satellites orbiting the earth, and transmits this information to the NSS Group tracking server via the GPRS mobile network.
Our server then "lays" this information over our feature rich maps.
The tracking server stores the GPS historical information for
a minimum period of 30 days - data can be down loaded for permanent storage.
Via our high security web portal clients gain access to their mobile assets data base & live locations.
